The features of metaphor in the diagnostic of the school fears of children of junior school age are explored. Making empirical research permits to say that metaphor in the form of tales is effective used in the practice of diagnostic work with emotional sphere of children of junior school age. With its help one can explore the matter and the age peculiarity of school fears of children of junior school age.
